UFO is the only company in the world using MPEG-4 based compression for high definition enabled digital cinema applications.

The more economical file size allows us to deliver the film via satellite in less than real time. Thus a three hour film is delivered electronically via satellite in less than three hours. Satellite delivery allows us the freedom to go to territories in far flung corners of India without delay. We release films on first day first show basis even in far flung places such as Katra in Jammu Kashmir or say Siliguri in West Bengal.

We provide the equipment worth Rs.15 Lakhs to the exhibitors against a Rs.Two Lakh refundable deposit from the exhibitors. Thus if the exhibitor wants to discontinue our system after six months, we will return him the deposit and take back our equipment. He is never under any compulsion to continue.
Other system providers ask exhibitors to either buy the systems upfront or invest Rs 3 - 4 lacs or ask them to pay monthly EMI by getting a loan from the bank. Even if the exhibitor buys the projector thinking that after 3 years the projector is his, which projector is going to continue after three years.

We have broken our charges and charge a small amount to the distributor and a small amount to the exhibitor. Both charges are usage based. If the exhibitor is not using the system he does not have to pay anything. There is no fixed overhead on the exhibitor. Similarly the distributor also pays on per show basis and hence he need not invest in the cost of a print and can simply pay us on the actual number of shows screened by him.
