UFO provides armed escort for transportation of film negatives / print and at the time of telecine to prevent any unauthorized access to the film material. After telecine the film material is returned to the Lab under the custody of the armed guard. The D5 tape is delivered by the armed guard to UFO's capture station.    

UFO has a dedicated media centre for conversion of D5 tapes to digital files. The media centre is equipped with bio-metric access control systems which allow access to only authorized personnel after cross refering their finger prints.    

UFO uses 192 bit AES encryption while digitizing the film which uses frame to frame encryption. The encrypted content can be decrypted only with the license key. 

License to play the film is delivered onto smart cards via DVB link. This ensures that no unauthorized person has access to the codes to play the film. In a similar manner a license can be revoked also at the instruction of the distributor / producer.

A secured link is maintained between the server and the projector using High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) protocol. Movies copied from the UFO theater screen with a camcorder can be easily identified as the images on the screen are finger printed which would not be visible to the viewer, but will be easily caught by the recorder. This way it will be easy to identify the source of such pirated content.
