Mr. Sanjay Gaikwad (Founder & Executive Director)

Mr. Sanjay Gaikwad is a qualified Engineer and has a Masters Degree in Business Management from Mumbai University. He started his own business initiative in 2003, after a rich and broad spectrum of corporate experience spanning over 15 years. He was the key person behind the modernization of Zee Group (one of India's largest media companies), and launching of its USA and UK operations. As President - Technology and New Projects, he conceptualized and implemented high technology projects such as Broadband Access to residential users over secured Cable Modem (HFC) Technology, which is a big success in southern part of India, and has made Zee the market leader in the technology capital of India -Bangalore. He has also spearheaded digitization and CAS initiative of the Group. His real success and entrepreneur vision was distinctly visible when he conceived the idea of online lottery and successfully operationalised 'Playwin' - India's first online lottery, as Chief Operating Officer. This project involved a complex business model based on highly sophisticated networking and software support. With over 5000 Points of Presence across India, the roll out was completed in less than three months and the project turned cash positive in the first 6 months of operation.

Mr. Rajesh Mishra (CEO - Indian Operations)

Rajesh is a Chartered Accountant with more than 17 years of experience in Films and Television industry. He started his career with a leading film production company and went on to join the Zee Network where he was the General Manager – Legal and Commercial. After leaving Zee he started his own television production company and later on moved to Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd (Times of India Group) as General Manager – Corporate affairs. Here he handled Strategic Alliances and Mergers and Acquisitions. Rajesh has now joined the UFO India and is working on the Digital Cinema project. His core areas are Business and Brand Development, Marketing and Operations.

Mr.Vishnoo Patel (CEO- International Operations (ROTW))

With formal training in Broadcasting and Films from Boston University, USA, he has over 15 years of experience in the broadcasting and media. Under his leadership as president programming for ZEE NETWORK, ZEE was a leading television network achieving very high TRP ratings. He has also worked for STAR TELEVISION in Hong Kong for over 3 years as Channel Producer, and was responsible for launching India's first Hindi Movie Channel.

A Public Relations and Corporate Communications professional with an experience of 24 years, including his seven years stint as a working journalist at the beginning of his career, Charu Satam associated with Valuable Group as advisor four years ago. UFO Moviez, the group’s most ambitious project was in its infancy then and Charu took it upon himself to give it the much desired visibility through media. He single handedly built the brand UFO and later portrayed Valuable rightly as one of the fastest growing technology driven business houses in the country. A public speaker par excellence, a prolific writer and a voracious reader, Charu has a phenomenal media network in India and even today continues to advise some prominent political leaders on the matters related to public speaking and media relations. As a matter of fact, he is a permanent member of think tank for some of them.

An Electronics Engineer from Bombay University , he joined the Indian Air-Force in the Telecommunication and Signal Unit as a Commissioned Officer, where he gained tremendous experience in the field of Networking and Communications. After a tenure of 6 years with the Air-Force, he worked with various organizations like HCL-COMNET and MOTOROLA, where he honed his expertise in Satellite Communications on such projects as National Stock Exchange's first Satellite based infrastructure. Sanjay joined ZEE TELEFILMS and successfully implemented Networking projects for ZEE News, Internet Over Cable and Hybrid Fiber Coaxial Network and the DTH project. He was instrumental in implementing India' s first on-line lottery (Playwin Brand) network.

A qualified Chartered Accountant, he has over nine years of experience. His areas of expertise are corporate finance, fund raising, accounts, taxation, internal audit and general management. In his previous assignment he was part of the Senior Management at Iqara Telecoms - a British Gas Group Company. As Head of Operations he has successfully established and expanded company's business in Mumbai right from inception stage. Prior to this assignment, he has also worked with GTL Limited and Voltas Ltd.

With 20 years of experience in the Media, Entertainment, and Event Industry, Mitalee V Patel comes to UFO with the rich experience of having worked with leading corporate organisations in the business, like The Times of India, Zee Network and Sahara TV. Starting as a P R Executive in the TOI Sesquicentennial (150 years)Celebrations, Mitalee went on to head the Events & Special Programming Divisions of Zee and Sahara, being associated with prestigious national film and sporting television shows, along the way.

During his association with Zee Group for over 10 years, he worked in various capacities in diversified line of businesses including electronic media, portal and ISP. As Vice President commercial and facilities at PLAYWIN, he played a key role in startup operations right from conceptual stages. He was instrumental in streamlining the procurement and supply chain and logistic operations for PLAYWIN online lottery business.

Raju Ananthanarayanan is a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, United Kingdom. He has a rich experience of over 17 years in Secretarial and Legal fields including Incorporation of Companies, Setting Up Joint Ventures, Franchise Operations, both in India and Overseas, Mergers and Amalgamation and Corporate Governance. He comes to UFO after working with companies like Essel Propack and Kuoni Travels.
